Hive ownership & managed hosting
What you actually own when you buy a stingless bee hive, how that ownership is recorded, whether to keep it hosted at the farm or take it home — and how to follow the hive for life through its QR code.
This page explains exactly how the system works — so that you know clearly what you own before you decide. Updated 16/08/2026.
What do you own when you buy a stingless bee hive?
Every hive in the system is a real hive, identified by a unique QR code printed on the hive box. When you buy, ownership of the hive is recorded in your account: open Account → My hives to see the hives you own, together with their complete care records. The hive's QR code and history are preserved for its entire life — if the hive changes owner or is moved, the earlier history remains intact.
After buying, you have two options
| Managed hosting at the farm | Take it home yourself | |
|---|---|---|
| Who cares for the hive | The farm's technical team cares for it according to our procedures and logs every visit | You care for it yourself; you may ask our technicians to accompany you |
| How you keep track | Scan the QR code or open "My hives" — every update is visible remotely | The hive is transferred to your own farm, registered in your name on the system; you record updates yourself in your account |
| Cost | A hosting management fee under the terms published at the time of signing | No management fee |
| Receiving honey | The hive owner submits a honey request directly in their account; our customer care team schedules a delivery date or a pick-up at the farm, within the limits of the policy in force | |
Transfer and resale
Every change of owner and every move of a hive between farms is recorded with a transfer slip confirmed on the system — who owns a hive and where that hive is can always be looked up, with nothing left ambiguous.
A frank word about risk
Bees are living creatures. The health of a colony and its honey yield depend on the weather, on the flower sources available and on the care given — for that reason we do not commit to any fixed yield or fixed profit. What we do commit to is this: a real hive, real identification, a transparent care log, and a publicly published breeding hive warranty policy (see the Warranty Policy).
Paperwork
Purchase and managed hosting transactions are recorded as orders on the system — that record is the reference for both parties. If you need a paper contract, please contact the hotline in the page footer for assistance.
Still have questions?
Call the hotline or message us on Zalo in the corner of the screen — or visit the farm in person before you decide. We encourage that.
