Many people who are new to Ong Dú often ask:
“How many colonies should I start with?”
But at Ong Dú Đất Rồng, we believe there is a more important question to ask first:
Is your garden ready for the bees to live and grow well?
Because Ong Dú does not only need a beautiful box.
They need a place that is cool enough.
Quiet enough.
Surrounded by trees, flowers, and shade.
With fewer chemicals.
With fewer ants, lizards, and insects that may disturb the hive.
And with someone willing to observe them every day.
A small Ong Dú hive may look gentle and quiet from the outside, but inside is a living community with its own rhythm.
Some colonies settle quickly.
Some need more time.
Some require closer observation after being moved, separated, or placed in a new environment.
That is why raising Ong Dú should not be done only by excitement.
To build something sustainable, we must start from the foundation:
look at the land, the garden, the flowers, the sunlight, and the hive placement before thinking about expanding the number of colonies.
That is also what makes Ong Dú Đất Rồng different.
We do not simply deliver bee colonies to customers.
We want to help each customer understand their own garden, choose the right location, start with a suitable number of hives, and gradually build a living Ong Dú corner with products, experiences, and long-term value.
Because a healthy bee colony does not begin with the box.
It begins with the right environment.
A grower who is willing to learn.
And a model built sincerely from the smallest details.
